Regarding Kayan Culture in Burma
The Roots of the Problem:
1. Lack of Media Access
2. Military Limits Religion and Culture
3. No Freedom or Right to Celebration and Cultural Expression
4. Not Allowed to Speak our Mother Tongue
5. Lack of Participation among our Generation
6. Lack of Education in Rural Areas, have to travel far to cities
The Trunk (support) for Solutions:
1. Share our Training & Knowledge
2. Celebrate our Culture
3. NGO's
4. Mother Tongue
The Branches (solutions) to the Problem:
1. Should be allowed to speak our mother tongue
2. Community Leaders
3. Family
4. Support from NGO's
