We convened at the Ocean Point Hotel in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia from October 23 - 26 to bring IICRD's partners together to discuss the development of an applied learning program at Royal Roads University.

Thank you for your interest in their group - we are all collectively reviewing documents and providing feedback on the direction and content of this educational program that we are building with royal roads that will consist of an applied bachelors, masters and Phd that is grounded in community and cultural realities and builds capacity of HS workers to better work with communities and children to support their healing and well being - we welcome your insights and hearing of how this program could support your work in Sierre Leone

Thanks Nancy - In our recent consultations with the partners their has been an agreement to shift the working title of this very exciting program to Young Partners in Development (YPID) to highlight the focus on starting from the lived reality of young people. We will post some of these planning docs on this new group for those of you interested in continuing to be a part of this journey.
