Welcome! - About This Group

This groups offers a way to connect and engage as part of the follow up to our time together. Lets see if we have any interest/juice for following up here!

Here is a video that summarize how this group works:

Here is "word art" that emerged from the themes we discussed:

Here are some pictures to take you back to our time together, if you have photos, please add them to the site and to the Album titled Youth Partners in Development.

There is "Comment Wall" that you may add any thought to and a "Discussion Forum" right below with discussions on a number of gathering related topics:

  • There is a discussion with the great "rough notes" that Michele posted - thank you Michele!
  • There is a discussion for each of the Open Space Topics.
  • There is a discussion about collaborating on the "gateway" course.
  • You can reply and attach files to any of the discussions taking place in the forum.

I just posted this email to everyone who attended the gathering:

Greetings!

I hope everyone returned home safely.  While it's still fresh, let's do some follow-up from our time together:

  • We've put together this short 2 1/2 minute video to give you an overview of what's waiting for you in the group. http://youtu.be/Om5iUqh_NiQ
  • To join the group you need to join the site; it's a two step process, you join the Child Rights in Practice network and then you join the group Youth Partners in Development.

There is a collaboration brewing around formulating a "gateway course" in partnership with Royal Roads and in the process developing a clear and concise proposal to get it funded.

Please take a couple minutes and check out what is in place and let us know if there's anything missing or unclear. This online group will be a good place to continue your engagement in this process. We hope to hear your voice and benefit from your gifts... don't hold back!

In community,

Jon
