Release of UNICEF flagship report, 'The State of the World's Children' Special Edition

On 20 November 1989, the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. To commemorate this landmark, UNICEF is dedicating a special edition of its flagship report, The State of the World’s Children, to child rights.

The report describes the timeless relevance of the Convention, its impact, and the challenges that remain. It includes special expert essays from public and private sector representatives, alongside examples of the child rights situation in a range of countries.
